Goshen Boys and Girls Club Garden

The summer of 2014 was the first season of producing food in the Club’s existing garden. In the first year, ¼ acre of green beans were planted and then used by the club’s cafeteria, sent home with kids, and excess was canned for the winter. The second year has included increased diversity of plants with a variety of vegetables, fruit trees, and herbs. Beginning June 2016, the club will be undergoing renovations and therefore the garden space will be cover cropped until the next growing season.
